Changeable

The weather feels like in April. After snow two days ago, we had 13°C this morning, with some showers. Around lunchtime, it cleared up a little, and I walked to the farm shop to get potatoes (and some exercise at last). The first blossom is starting to appear on blackthorn and cherry plum hedges (see extra).

On the Rhine valley panorama (which looks much better in large), some shower clouds are still visible in the background. When I walked back from the shop, it started to rain again. Later we had downpours. By now, the temperature is dropping quickly towards zero again,, and gales are howling around the house.
