The Watch House...

...the Lifeboat Station, and Dove Marine Laboratory at Cullercoats...

Called in to Gareth's for a coffee, and had to linger while a hailstone shower passed through ;) 
Caught the Metro to Cullercoats and started our walk back in the sunshine - then had to hunker down in one of the shelters for a while as another hailstorm engulfed the beach - see extra
Now we're just having a relaxing evening before the taxi picks us up at 2am...
