Flower Friday

Another beautiful day today and we did a 5.5 mile walk in the National forest at El Cedro. It was pleasant under the shade of the trees but the walk is getting more difficult, especially the rock climbing down into The Valley. At one point a tree with many branches had filled onto the path and it was a case of climbing under it and over it.
There were lots of these flowers around, it’s called Pericallis Steetzii. I also managed to get a Canarian brimstone butterfly, see extra and a second extra of a sea of yellow flowers.
