A cold day

This pink tube takes you from Finnieston - where we are staying - to the river Clyde and the area where you find the Armadillo and the Hydro, where Lizzo performed last night. We found it was too cold to walk by the river for long, so we came back again fairly soon. Some of us went back to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery again, to look at a fantastic section called Looking at Art. My first extra is a painting by Joan Eardley, called Two Children, painted in 1962.  She specialised in painting Glasgow street children. In the early evening we went for a delicious meal at a vegan restaurant - only one of us is 100% vegan, but it was her 70th birthday, so she got to choose. Then we went to the Glasgow Film Festival  - a showing at the Glasgow Film Theatre of Dance Craze, the premier of a completely remastered 1981 film showing Ska/Two Tone bands live: the Beat, the Specials, the Selector, the Bodysnatchers, Bad Manners, and Madness.  I’ve put them in order of my preference.  The poster is my 2nd extra.  It was snowing quite hard, so we got an Uber both ways.  It was really worth it.
