Peaches

There something very satisfying about harvesting your own fruit and veggies, isn't there?
We had two new trees grow from stones and this year they produced about 10 buckets full.
Unfortunately this type of peach is susceptible to brown rot so we lost about three buckets.
These particular peaches are  called Black Boy (please don't judge me for that) and have purple flesh. The skins are quite furry.
Delicious raw or cooked, especially with plenty of whipped cream or Greek yogurt.
