Abstract Thursday - Mono

I had an interesting afternoon. The local hearing tester had a promotion on today and we went along to be tested. I have known for a while I might need hearing aids and Hubby tells me often that I am hard of hearing. Other things have been getting in the way so it was a good opportunity as we didn’t need an appointment. I got a bit of a shock when he told me I had 50% loss and needed to start wearing aids straight away. He gave me some there and then to try out. Haven’t noticed much difference yet but I am hoping to understand the local dialect better. Hubby‘s hearing is pretty good.
