Windsor Mansions

Busy day today, first dropping off some more stuff at the Cancer Research Charity ship in Portobello, before heading home, before coming out again in the afternoon to go to Corstorphine to collect the keys (for my old flat) from the flat clearance company who had completed their job of clearing the flat before painting all the rooms. The rooms look a lot larger without and furniture or stuff in it. Next stop is to put it up for sale …

Anyway, enough of my ramblings.

Today’s blip is on Windsor Mansions (built in 1896)which is behind the promenade in Portobello. I love Victorian architecture, as it is beautiful as well as being well built with quality materials like red sandstone. So much better than the cheaply built poor quality shoeboxes that are thrown up nowadays!

Have a good Saturday evening, all.
