My life

It was a rum sort of day

Kevin and I were in Manchester today at the Gin & Rum festival, a Christmas present from Martin & Cat. We both like both drinks and the festival gives you chance to try some different ones. Without really planning to we just had Rum, plain, spiced and flavoured all served with the recommended garnish and mixer. Most of them were very nice.
The venue was the Cathedral, it is a beautiful building. I confess I find it a little odd that the building is used for the festival, maybe being brought up as a Methodist has something to do with it. When the Canon walked through carrying his robes, presumably for the service tomorrow, he looked strangely out of place.
