Celandine

I found some celandine flowers today - lots of them - but nowhere near the place I spotted one the other day!!

SoI tried out the macro capability of my new lens - it has a feature called ‘Centre Focus Macro’ and lets you get up close with manual focus - 13 cm focus distance - which puts the front of the lens about 2 cm from the subject!

Quite pleased with this - it means I may not need to carry my macro lens out and about!! We shall see.

Just settled down to watch the Ireland v Scotland rugby match on the TV..hoping for a more even game than the one yesterday.
