Home on Wheels

The snow has started!  We've decided not to risk trying to get to the Buxton Wool Gathering after all. It's a shame and very disappointing, but if the snow is bad, it is like that the camp site wouldn't be open and the event itself may be cancelled.  We are going to Keswick instead!

We are very pleased with the van. This is the first time we've brought it south and it is so much easier to live in that the previous one. 

Being higher/taller it means that Mike can actually stand up in this one and that's a major improvement, as is having a heater, hot water, a toilet and a permanent bed above the cab. It's more roomy too, even though it is the same length as the VW.  Also importantly, Lottie enjoys it! Phew!
