A is for Avocet

Avocet - Recurvirostra avosetta - Back blip. This weekend myself and Graham1 visited Leighton Moss RSPB reserve with the Forth Valley RSPB Local Group. Our first stop was to see the Avocets. I took this one by digiscoping, you can see the legs of a chick under the mother. Graham1 has some great pics of all the birds we saw over the weekend. Seeing the Avocets was a major highlight for me.
