Pliers

I love a pair of pliers- what do you mean you think I'm odd. I have loads. These are all specialist jewellery pliers.
The round noses ones are for making or closing jump rings (the little ring that joins a chain to a clasp).
The flat nosed ones are for holding anything but unlike normal pliers they have no teeth on the jaws so they don't leave marks on soft metals like silver and gold.
The ones with the black jaws and blue handles are crimp pliers. They are used to squash a crimp bead to hold the thread and fasten the clasp on to a threaded necklace. The crimp bead is a small tube of soft metal that the thread goes through and is squashed then folded in half to hold the thread.
The pliers with the white plastic ends are to hold jewellery and cause no damage.
Hope this is informative.
I'm using the pliers to mend a zip.
