Late blossom

It was late today before I got outside for a blip.

Amalanchier Canadensis was the first tree/shrub I ever bought. That was some time ago. I was attracted by its interest in all seasons and placed it outside the kitchen window in our first house. Something to look at while doing the dishes in the days before a dish washer.

At the time, I remember feeling uncomfortable at it's price and wondering whether I could really afford this gardening business. Nothing much has changed.

In each house I've planted one. In this one, it is outside one of our tall windows so that we can appreciate the blossom and everything else it offers. This is the first day the blossom has opened up so worthy of a blip.
