This is not a normal cat placement. We're not sure why he decided on this day that this was to be his spot for that moment. 
Thankfully, he moved off shortly thereafter to the sanctity of a shed roof instead. 

However, in taking this blip it does highlight the requirement that we should paint our fence a wee bit.
