hidden in plain sight

This tree was full of chickadees this morning. I usually recognize a bird by sound first, and then look for movement. It's a good thing that chickadees flit around so much! But of course that makes them hard to photograph. I was amazed to see how the black cap and black triangle on the chest help the bird to blend into the tree.
