Spring blossom

The blackthorn is abundant in the local hedgerows now, and it is a very welcome brightness in the still leafless hedges. This blossom is in our garden, and I have no idea whether it is blackthorn or some other flowering shrub. It just appeared a while ago, and it is very welcome at this time of year.
It has been warmer today with intermittent sunshine. Maybe spring is arriving at last.
