It’s back

I was quite surprised to see that the white stuff had returned when I looked out of the window this morning. Although it was a thin coating, it was very pleasing to walk in, giving a very distinct soft crunch. However, by lunchtime the forecast golden sunshine had appeared and much of the white stuff melted away, except in shaded areas.
My blip shows the view from our garden across to the outskirts of the village. The billowing smoke in the lower part of the shot is not a passing steam train, but our neighbours stoking up their wood burner. I quickly followed their wise example.
