River Redgum on the Macquarie

A 24” x 24” acrylic on canvas painting which I have done for our Fresh Arts show coming up at Baradine.

I used a limited palette based on the Zorn Palette I used black, white, red and yellow ochre. Ideally I should have used an ivory black but didn’t have any on hand.

This was done from one of the plein air charcoal sketches.
