Hello There!

I took a walk round the Devil's Punch Bowl today along the track of the old A3 trunk road, down into the valley and back up, returning to visitor's centre via Highcombe Edge.  

I spotted some ponies wandering through the undergrowth in the valley. They are Exmoor ponies who have a permanent residence here for conservation grazing and have access to the whole site.  A bit further on I saw they had now found a field and were grazing happily, sharing their bounty with a Mistle Thrush (extra).  This one came up to say "Hello".
