In hot pursuit!

There was still the thinnest layer of ice covering part of the pond in Maxwell Park but it certainly didn’t stop this swan from making a beeline up to the far end of the pond where two juvenile swans had dared to invade the space of the adults.

Both pairs are incomers but the adults will just not allow the youngsters to share the water with them ….. I do hope that there is a peaceful outcome and not a blood bath.
