Promise of Spring?

It was just above zero this morning with a ground frost. The skies soon turned grey, so it was cheering to see my neighbour's flowering cherry in bloom.

I read today that many areas of Britain have averaged approximately one hour of sunlight per day so far in March, a lot less than usual. Maybe the second half of the month will bring wall-to-wall sunshine to even up the score? Ever the optimist!
