Painting

Many thanks for all the stars and hearts yesterday for my 4000th blip, all gratefully received.

This is one of my favourite paintings, by contemporary Scottish artist James Orr, bought when I worked for a while at The Rowan Gallery in Drymen. It is entitled 'Winter Lay-Up at Ross Priory' (on the shores of Loch Lomond).

A day of hanging around at home waiting...
