What struck my fancy

History

This is part of the 'old town' in King's Lynn, once England's third largest port. The grand building is the former Customs House, now a tourist information centre. The statue celebrates a son of the town, one Captain George Vancouver who charted the west coast of North America US in the late 1700s.

He's always worth a visit when searching for a blip.
