Noble rot

Half way back from There to Here we stopped for a sandwich lunch, as you do, and this was the view. Dingwall is long finished as a harbour, what with the river silting up, boats getting too big and the water too shallow. Still, here we are at the old Ferrypoint, and I'm contemplating the scant remains of old timber structures, and wondering what it looked like back in the day.
