Station scaffolding

This morning I went to my class at the gym then straight to my watercolour group where I did some nice relaxing painting.

My blip is of the station building for Cambrian Heritage Railway and is still in use when the trains run at weekends and holidays.

The building has been covered in scaffolding since March 2022 after damage to the roof following storms. Work has not started yet and so far it has cost the council over £12,000 for the hire of the scaffolding. I have heard that the delay is because they’re waiting for the right parts but I don’t know for certain.

Whatever the cause it needs doing. Not only is it unsightly but it means that the pavement can’t be used making it difficult for wheelchairs, prams etc.
