Morning Walk

A lovely walk at Derwenthaugh Country Park which is on the reclaimed site of the Derwenthaugh Coke Works.  It is about the size of 146 football pitches and contains woodlands, meadows, a river and wetlands.  There is also a cafe and visitors centre.  I saw two red kites in the distance on my visit and have also seen deer on previous walks.
