Roll on

Despite appearances he didn't need a lifeline. The short ferry crossing was a swaying one on the roll-on, roll-off ferry they use, but it's only about 10 minutes of a journey. I timed my visit well this time as the fortnightly coffee morning was on in the community hall and I was plied with tea and still warm from the oven crumbly banana bread and some lively company.
