Traditional M6 picture when we drive up to Manchester, only this time we had a rainbow to greet us.

We made it with 10 minutes to spare to be able to pick Emmeline up from school. It was lovely to see her run up and wrap her arms round me.

For the first time ever, we actually took a flask and sandwiches for our service station stop. I was pleased that we did, the station was rammed, and if we'd had to queue for food we'd not have made it to school out.
