Nice surprise

Off down into town for food shopping first thing. Then an exercise walk as hubby still positive and wanting to stretch his legs. We walked up to the church and around the memorial garden. No one around.
Sorted camper. Always start the season stocking up the ‘larder’ cupboard, well it’s a couple of baskets on the shelves under the bed. Bedding, towels, toiletries and first aid kit all sorted.
Daughter dropped off Ruby for the weekend as they are off to spend some time with friends. She also handed me a beautiful bunch of flowers, such a lovely surprise.
Called alarm company today to chase them up about the system they installed and not working, not heard anything since someone came out over a week ago and suddenly they want to come today, I told them no so they are coming Monday.
UPS left a card to say they tried to deliver and I was out so they have left it at a pick up point. So frustrating as they only tried to deliver once and they could have left it in our post box.
