Stubborn washing (drying)

The people here were shocked to hear that we tend to not use the dryer for drying our clothes after washing (and, in fact, not even the washing machine to wash today). Washing racks are not even sold at the local K-mart. In stead, we hang this old school drying device (for the first time in history of our house?), because the weather is perfect for drying clothes and you get a free lilac fragrance to it as well!
