Coledale Hause from Grizedale Pike

The weather gradually cleared during the day. We decided to do the Coledale Horseshoe although the tops were still in cloud. As we ascended Grizedale Pike, the cloud gradually lifted leaving it clear at the top where we stopped for lunch.

After leaving here, we descended to Coledale Hause where we decided to take the more direct path back down the valley to Braithwaite. There are some amazing old mine workings as you come down the valley where I also took loads of pictures. However I decided a picture of the fells was better as a blip.

There were enough clouds hanging around to make it interesting. It was quite hazy but a polarising filter helped a lot.

It was difficult choosing a Blip for today as there was a lot of choice but I think this is my favourite because of the lovely light and dramatic sky.
