The Lord Chief Justice of England & Wales

I was kindly invited to photograph The Lord Chief Justice yesterday as part of the annual London Legal Walk event.

Lord Judge was a great subject, very relaxed and so easy to get on with. He was gracious with his time as I stumbled over exposure settings.

This was one of two pictures that we took. The other was what he called his "scary stare." I'm keeping that as a personal memento.

This picture just bursts with happiness. I showed it to a colleague today who said "you can't help but smile when you see it."
