Helensburgh…

I drove to Helensburgh this afternoon to make cocktails at a 40th birthday party. It’s fair to say that it’s a schlep to get there but the house was absolutely beautiful.

Espresso and French martinis were the order of the evening and I made an apple and ginger punch which went down very well. I’m not a big fan of punch as it always seems to taste like there’s too much booze in it but this recipe was delicious… I was quite impressed but then again I do love ginger. I might make it for my birthday.

After only an hours sleep last night, I’m hopeful that tonight I’ll be dead to the world!
