Coquet estuary

More 'domestic goddessing' this morning prior to the arrival of a couple who came to view the flat. Seems very unlikely that they'll take things any further. Ah well!

After a quick bite to eat MrM drove us down to Amble to visit Jacqui, who's staying with a good friend there while she recovers from her stay in hospital. Good to find her feeling much better! We were greeted enthusiastically by Fletch, now happily reunited with his owner. After chatting with Jacqui and Sue for a couple of hours we took our leave, and went for a short walk by the harbour and along the pier. There were hazy views across the Coquet estuary towards Warkworth - Warkworth Castle is to the right of centre in the Blip.

We drove back via Alnwick where we stopped for fish & chips at Carlo's. Absolutely delicious, but prohibitively expensive. It'll have to be take-away fish & chips from now on...
