Full disclosure before we start, I did not take this or the additional photo. There, that feels better to have got it off my chest...

They arrived at 0300 from a pal who has gone back home to China to visit her parents. Before going to see them she has stopped off in Beijing for a bit and sent me this snap and the extra, amongst others.

These type of hire bikes were also used in Oxford and elsewhere in the UK I think, a couple of times I've been to Oxford I remember seeing them scattered everywhere. The extra shows, to the right, some amazing cycle lanes along with super wide footways/sidewalks that are the stuff of dreams in the UK!
