The Flower Bowl Curling Centre

We drove home from The Rotary Conference this morning...

We stopped just up the road at Barton Garden Centre...possibly the finest garden centre in England!

Then we walked a short distance to see the marina on The Lancaster Canal...then on to The Flower Bowl, England's only dedicated Curling Rink!

An inch of ice…so perfect for curling…no ice skating though.

We could see the England team practising!

The Curling Rink is wheelchair friendly and offers beginners classes for all ages!

We got home to Cockermouth by 2pm...
