My spice cupboard

I have had this spice cupboard for nearly fifty years, a gift from my late godmother. I love it as it contains nearly every herb or spice that I might use on a regular basis. The clock above was a wedding gift to N and I over thirty-four years ago from good friends in Edinburgh. The little notebook was hand made by a very talented artist in north Mull and I use the it for keeping a record of our favourite coffee beans. The tiny grater is to add some fresh nutmeg to whatever requires it. The equally tiny cup and saucer was a gift a few years ago from my cousin and it came filled with tiny chocolate Easter eggs. Occasionally, it is now used for a tasty espresso.
Another grey day has resulted in this very local blip.
