Getting old

Darren thinks he as noticed me slowing down a bit. I still run around a lot, love my walks and playing with my ball but I am over 10 years old now and like you humans us dogs feel the age of time too. There is still plenty of life in me but I’m probably in the last third of my life and I think that scares Darren, I’ve been a big part of his life and for him to notice that I’m not as young as I used to be ( despite my youthful looks ) is a reminder that I won’t be around forever. If you own a pet of any kind, cherish your time with them, we don’t live as long as you humans.

In other news, Darren enjoyed the second episode of Wild isles, especially the bit with the Starlings.
