World Record Mile.

In Calne yesterday, Thomas had his cricket indoor cricket there at the school sports centre. Took a wander round the town ,came across this plaque on the old town hall. Walter George ran the world record mile at West Brompton, 1886. 4mins and 12sec. Held the record for 26 years. Nice one.
