The French Transit

This is a Citroen H Van - first introduced just after WW2, it became the French equivalent of the Ford Transit. It continued with the same rather unusual and utilitarian design until production ceased in 1981.
Much loved - in France - vintage versions are still a common sight serving as stylish food trucks. They invoke a retro continental image to such businesses.  This one is a Pizza Van - and lives in Hebden Bridge :-)
