Waking up

First thing this morning the forecast for this afternoon looked good, with no precipitation expected until this evening. So we planned a post-lunch walk on Weetwood Moor, but wimped out when the rain started as we were about to set off, several hours earlier than forecast. Plenty to do without getting soaked!

The rain had eased off by the time I walked the short distance to the estate agents. Having decided to continue with our house purchase, we really need the flat to sell asap, so the price is being reduced for the second time.

No landscape view for today's Blip. Instead you have my Mothers' Day flowers, still 'waking up'. They arrived flat-packed (to go through the letter box) as rather floppy 'sleeping' stems, and apparently take about 48 hours to fully 'wake up'. However, these look pretty good after only a couple of hours in water, and their scent is filling the living room!
