Grafted Mango

Mango is a very common plant in Malawi and when they are ripe everyone eats them, unfortunately they have a very short window. Since there are so many, they regularly rot. Over the past few years we have been locating other varieties of mango which last longer on the tree or ripen at different times. We have also begun drying them to preserve them for later. In all we have nine varieties and when grafting is done its a great help to the villagers.
