Unusual Bridge in Lancashire

We were camping near the Lancaster canal and walked into Garstang along the towpath. We came across this beautiful white bridge that carried neither road traffic, nor pedestrians.

It transpires that this is a pipe bridge that carries water from Barnacre Reservoir to Blackpool and the Fylde. It bears the inscription 'FWB 1927'
