Slow setup!

After yesterday’s abortive attempt to set up the recorder, F had the good idea that it could be my WiFi signal but the Ethernet cable was too short.

This morning I went into town and bought a long one and fixed it up. I got it working but had lost the automatic setup. There was no guide and various other functions.

I switched it off and went outside to do some gardening. Later I tried again and the automatic setup had returned. It seems to be working properly now - phew!

While in town I took my laptop into the computer repair shop. It’s so slow that I have to be desperate to use it. Hopefully it will be much improved when it returns.

What a techie day!
