Wall going green

This north facing wall was repaired last year. Nearly opposite is a south facing wall that was repaired about the same time. This north facing wall almost never gets direct sunlight - only reflected and as you can see is going green. The south facing wall which gets baked in summer is free from green growth...!

The dog doesn't care about these observations and is happy as long as he gets his walkies!
