Lake Isaac

Although we walked over 10k steps/4+ miles today, we never made it up to Lake Abrams on the Lake to Lake Trail from Lake Isaac in Big Creek Reservation, Middleburg Heights.  VD and I took a long and yummy lunch break at Alladin's on Bagley Road before heading back to our starting point.  People we met along the way were unusually conversational today.  We were both feeling a bit draggy, even before lunch.  There were a variety of birds about with all the lakes, ponds, and meadows, but all I caught was a few song sparrows and the backside of a hawk.  Better birding days await ahead...

The Native American painting above was seen on the back of a shed we passed in someone's backyard. We wished we understood what the symbols around the perimeter meant.
