Where have all the flowers gone

The tree in the foreground here is a mimosa three years ago I blipped it to ask my fellow bloopers what it was - it was heavy with beautiful yellow flowers! Now it’s only noticeable for its brown dead leaves and flowers hanging on from last year - don’t know what’s happened to it. It will be a shame if it dies
