North Leeds

As we are at caravan in York Darren has been looking  on maps for somewhere new to go for walks. Todays venture was to North Leeds and Hetchell wood nature reserve, near the village of scarcroft. It took about 20 minutes to get there and it was quite good, spoilt only by the fact that the footpaths were really muddy because of recent rain.
The photo above was actually taken in a different wood on other side of road, it doesn’t have a name.
