Anvil Rock

Another terrific day - another blipmeet. This time in the Blue Mountains where we had the pleasure of spending time with Blackheath blippers isbi (Adrienne), mrIsbi (John) and Trisharooni (Trish). First an invite to a lovely lunch at Trish’s where we met partner Carl and Billy the very excited dog. Then onwards to Anvil Rock where we got a right soaking and where the main of A and J really sums up a curtailed but still breathtaking visit. John then drove us to Hargreaves Lookout where the mists swirled, the clouds blackened and the thunder rolled. Both incredibly atmospheric locations, with stunning vistas - no chance of doing them justice with my camera today.
By the time we were dropped off in Katoomba the rains were torrential, so any street photos took a back seat and we settled for a couple of schooners of beer.
A real pleasure to spend time with these good folk today. Thanks to all three for the best of days.
