Daddy

So I have been meaning to blip Andy for ages, and the first time I do is a super grainy not very good photo (featuring wooden spoon in mouth).

Ok, so the title needs explaining. Maddie read this Tumblr post (be warned before clicking it's a little explicit!) by porn-star-cum-purported-feminist, Stoya, about the term Daddy as a familial sexual term of endearment and has been somewhat won round. Maddie has also, seemingly, persuaded Charlotte. I, however, am unconvinced. Fine if it works for you, but I find it creepy. Maddie made a good point that it's not so different from calling someone 'baby' which could be construed as somewhat pedophilic if we stopped to think too much into it! However, 'baby' to me is diminutive/caring and somewhat more abstract than 'daddy', which is perhaps more equatable to 'son' or 'daughter' than 'baby' (in my mind anyway!)

Anyway, here is Maddie's 'daddy' Andy, in his first ever blip appearance. Thanks to Maddie and Andy for a lovely dinner of risotto and asparagus and to Charlotte and the aforementioneds for the typically entertaining conversation. As always, it never fails to amuse me :)
